OBJECTIVES

Pass on the Social Carbon Methodology, in theoretical and practical activities, to the communities occupying the area surrounding the Island of Bananal and the State Parks of Cantão and the State and National Parks of Araguaia, in a way that they can increase the value of the scrubland and improve its sustainable resources.

EXPECTED RESULTS
    Structure the Pium Livelihood and Training Center to deliver the project  and be available for the community;

    Prepare 50 multipliers (trainers) capable of developing  their activities with the support of the SCM;

    Prepare 18 representatives to define and accompany carbon credit projects in the region;
  The Hexagon

The results of the methodology are graphically represented through a hexagon, which allows the simultaneous view of the six sustainable resources of the community and the evolution during the course of the project.

The resources are:
    Natural
    Social
    Human
    Carbon
    Biodiversity
    Financial
